However, we highly recommend using our proprietary SK5 high-carbon steel blades, which are 2–3x more durable and designed for ultrasonic vibration. Standard blades may lack the hardness and edge retention needed for optimal ultrasonic performance.

Yes, it can operate while charging. However, performance is reduced to around 50% when powered by USB-C (requires 9V-3A PD power). NeoBlade will not function without a battery installed, as the battery also serves a safety lock mechanism.
